MST Begins Clinical Activity in Germany with AutoLap

February 1, 2017

MST has begun clinical activity in Germany with the AutoLap system at selected public and private hospitals. Users have already reported great success with the system in various general, visceral and gynecological procedures. Surgeons in Germany specifically noted the short learning curve required to begin faultless use of the system. They report exceptionally stable image and have pointed out the benefits for training surgeons, as AutoLap enables them to focus more on the assistant’s work rather than guiding them in managing the laparoscope for the procedure at hand.

“Offering a robotic program to surgical facilities in Germany is a strategic step for our growth. By introducing the AutoLap system, we expect to facilitate more efficient surgical workflow, optimized staffing, improved procedure scheduling and improved physical work conditions for the staff in these locations,” says Holger Schipper, Regional Director DACH.
